THE THOMSON FAMILY SCRAPBOOK

Compiled From Original Scrapbook Of

Lawrence "Cotton" Tracy Thomson

INTRODUCTION
This is the scrapbook that my Dad, Lawrence "Cotton" Tracy Thomson put together during his marriage to my Mom, Ruth Evelyn Parker Thomson from the later 1920s to his death in 1980s. His scrapbooks contain many photographs so I have broken all his books down into other books, each one has 10 pages with at most 12 photographs on each page. Please use the pull down menu above to go to a particular book.

My father's (Lawrence Tracy Thomson) scrapbook begins about where my mother's scrapbook ends, in the early 1920s. His scrapbooks are extensive and will have many more pages than my mother's. I hope you enjoy seeing my father and mother's combined scrapbook as they raise their family.

My dad was known as "cotton" from an early age due to his light colored hair so you will see many references to him as cotton throughout his scrapbook. I will reproduce his scrapbook here as he made it, i.e. photographs in the same order that he put them in his book.

Some, but not all, photographs in these scrapbooks are reproduced here. I hope you all enjoy this photo scrapbook of the Thomson family. Before going on to the various scrapbooks, please take a moment to look at the Family Tree below so you will know who is who in the photographs.

NOTE
Most of the graphics are under 50K but each page can have as many as 12 graphics, which may take as long as 2 minutes to fully load the page.
