Christopher Mark Thomson, My Son
Early Years: 1971

I am indeed fortunate to have Chris for a son. I was approaching 40 years old and coming off a bitter divorce from my first wife when I first started dating his mother, Mary Ann, who was a secretary at the Columbus Gas Service Corporation where I worked in the Research Department.

Chris was born about a year after we were married and it was a difficult delivery. A C-section was performed by her Dr. Angel, who was her doctor, about 3AM in the morning. Naturally, I was thrilled to have a son after resigning myself to no children in my first marriage.

Below are photographs that I found among my Dad's old scrapbooks. Click on any of them to see a larger image.
